on Monday 15 December 2008 - 18:18:43 | by onscreen

After a long break, Im back with some goodies, first of all just noticed site has reached 200 members? why or where they have come from I have no idea, but we still only have a few regulars.

Anyway, my cs movie is now complete which has been produced by ninjake, if you play cs I highly recommend you download it, keep in mind I havent been in a clan for over a year or so now so they are mainly from mixes/gathers but still a good movie.

We are in the process of finding mirrors for you, all details can be found at http://www.mynameiscraig.com/movie/

Site Update

on Saturday 11 October 2008 - 09:41:25 | by onscreen
Just over a month now since I made the site public, even though the forum is pretty much dead we have had over 3000 visits and 80 registered users. which is pretty leet for first month.

The site will be down for a few hours tonight as I upload a much needed update, lots of new shit is going to appear left right and centre, including games, more guides, and some weird ventrilo thing not that any of you care.

Also I managed to get my hands on Quake Live this week, this ownage online browser based game has had me hooked as soon as i got it. (I\'ve been a CPMA player ever since i was born). but more on this later and I will do a full review on it, also some sort of competition to get your own beta key. (I have one spare!)

on a side note, please post random crap on the forums, i have lots of bandwith to spare, and I get really bored of work and this is my only form of entertainment, thanks.

Ping Tweak Guide

on Friday 05 September 2008 - 09:39:43 | by onscreen
I've added a new guide to the forums, its a few old registry tweaks that was used A LOT back in the day by the 'pro' cs players. I did not think it would have much of an effect but I was suprised with the results, I believe since service pack 3 this has much more of an effect. If your using vista im unsure if this will work, why the hell you using vista anyway?

The biggest suprise though was the effect it had on my world of warcraft, my ping pretty much reduced by 80%. Im guessing this is because wow is more TCP related than UDP unlike cs. Screenshots to follow when I get home from work, oh and yes you will have to register to read the guide on the forums!

CS ping went from
25-30 to 15-25 depending on server
I even got a ping of 10 at one point, but was only 3 people on the server.

wow ping (stormscale EU server) went from
100 - 150 to 30-40
massive improvement.
